For the past three year's alumni from all eras have reunited at their alma mater during this weekend to see today's track athletes in action, reminisce with former teammates and meet fellow alumni, coaches and other Loper friends. This event has grown each year. As such we challenge those alums who attended last year's event to bring an alumni from your era who has not attended in the past.
The track and cross country teams have continued to produce excellent results in competition and in the classroom. Over the past three years, nine Loper track athletes have given a total of 19 All-American performances, the first women's distance running All-American in Loper NCAA DII history was recognized, and the cumulative men's and women's GPA was 3.11/4.0.
The loyalty of student-athletes yesterday and today has contributed greatly to sustaining the Lopers' success. There will be opportunities for you to support the program with your goodwill, volunteer spirit and financial resources as we move forward. We hope to see you on January 23rd!
