Kearney, Neb. - Nebraska-Kearney women's basketball freshman-to-be Shelby Zimmerman was recently named MVP of the 2010 Southeast Nebraska All-Star game.

The Tri-County H.S. grad tallied eight points as her West squad rolled the East, 75-24. A panel of coaches and media attending the game voted Zimmerman (5-10) as MVP.

The contest, held June 19th, was held at the Southeast Community College in Beatrice.
