Assistant Athletic Trainer

    Roy Stutz entering his 8th year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer here at UNK. Originally from Aurora Colorado, he graduated from Overland high school in 1995. Stutz earned his Bachelor's of Arts degree from UNK in 7-12 Health and Special Education with a minor in Athletic Trianing. He returned to Denver, Colorado as a graduate assistant at Regis University from 2000 - 2002 where he earend a Masters Degree in Education. In the Fall of 2002 Roy was hired as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. At SBU, his primary sport responsibilities included the coverage of Football, Men's Basketball, and Baseball. He also taught in the ATEP program at SBU.   
    In January of 2005 Stutz was hired as an Assistant Athletic Trainer here at UNK. His primary sport responsibilities at UNK are Football and Wrestling, as well as serving as the drug testing coordinator for the atheltic department. Stutz also teaches in the ATEP program at UNK. 
    Roy and his wife Dee currently reside in Kearney with thier 8 year old son Dawson and 5 year old daughter Eliza.
