A freshman from Indonesia, Gunawan had a super weekend as the Lopers women's tennis team beat Colorado Christian, Colorado State-Pueblo and Montana State-Billings last weekend in Montana.

Going 3-0 at No. 1 singles and 3-0 at No. 1 doubles with fellow first year player Cassie Shaw, Gunawan had a Friday to remember.

She first beat CCU's Amy Andersen in three sets; Andersen was the 2010 ITA Central Region singles champ. Next, she defeated Pueblo's Morgan Forsyth in straight sets; Forsyth reached the ITA singles semifinals and earned 1st-team All-RMAC singles honors last spring.

In 2011, Gunawan is 10-4 in singles and 12-3 in doubles
