University of Nebraska - Kearney Athletics

The Nebraska-Kearney track & field team competes in one of the top competition facilities in NCAA Division II and the Midwest.

The venue, located minutes from UNK’s campus at Kearney High School, opened in 2017 and was the host site for the 2018 MIAA Championships. The Lopers host three outdoor meets per season as the venue has produced national qualifiers in every field event and nearly every track event.

The facility features an eight-lane track, three pole vault runways, four horizontal jump runways and a steeplechase pit. Next, there are also two shot put rings inside the stadium with four discus/hammer rings and a synthetic javelin runway sitting just outside the track on natural grass.

The stadium also features ample seating, a large press box, state-of-the-art video board, storage facilities, locker rooms and plenty of parking.
