Do you have what it takes to be the face of the University of Nebraska Kearney? Are you spirited, energetic, and enthusiastic about UNK? Then this may be the position for you!

Louie the Loper is the University of Nebraska Kearney Mascot. He is not only present at UNK Home Athletic Events, but also attends many events throughout the Community.

This position is a scholarship position. Louie the Loper will receive a $500 per semester scholarship. This position does require working evenings and weekends with a flexible schedule. Louie also works closely with the UNK Cheer Team and UNK Sapphires to create a fun Game Day experience for all UNK Fans. This may require some attendance at Cheer and/or Dance practices.

The Louie the Loper position is made up of a team of 2 Louie the Lopers and 2 Handlers. This team works together to cover all UNK events and appearances.
