The Bear from Blair had a weekend to remember as she broke UNK's single season home run record while helping the Lopers go 2-2 at home.
In games against Western New Mexico and Adams State, Keck batted .667 (10 for 15) with five extra base hits and four RBI's.
Keck's first of three homers came in the 7th inning of Saturday's first game with Adams and helped cut into a two-run defecit. In the next game, she accounted for all three UNK runs with a solo homer and a two-run shot.
With 16 HR's on the year, she bests Darcie Berry's record of 15, set in 1999 and again in 2000. Keck is also on pace to shatter UNK season records for batting average, slugging percentage and extra base hits, as well as break Berry's career HR record of 48.
