Werner, a true sophomore inside backer, had 11 tackles (seven solo) in the Lopers 38-26 2nd round playoff loss to Wayne State.

Having one of the team's four tackles for loss, Werner ended the year with a team-high 84 tackles.

He also tied for the lead in TFL (9.0) and had four INT"s for 70 return yards.
