A senior from Colorado Springs, Leeper Jones became the 23rd Loper women's basketball player to reach 1,000 career points.

Entering games at Western State and Colorado Mesa this past weekend, Leeper Jones needed 31 points to reach the milestone. She tallied 15 in Gunnison and then scored 16 in Grand Junction with her 1,000th point coming on a three point play.

Currently averaging 15.8 points per game, Leeper Jones joins fellow senior Debi Johnson as Lopers in this exclusive club.
