Isaacson, a senior from Holdrege, started the track season off with a bang by breaking her own school-record in the pentathlon this past weekend at UNK's Pre-Holiday Quadrangular.

She tallied 3,565 points, besting her previous career-high by 36 points. To reach this total, she won the 60 hurdles, long jump and at 800 meters.

On Saturday, Isaacson won the long jump. Currently, she ranks 5th nationally in the pentathlon and 6th in the long jump (18-5.25).
