University of Nebraska - Kearney Athletics

A junior from Broken Bow, Hamilton provisionally qualified in two events at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln.

Running the 400, she qualified for the event finals by running a 56.81, the fourth fastest time in school history. The next day, she ran a 56.92 to place seventh.

Hamilton then ran the anchor leg for the 4 x 400 relay team that not only finished second but also turned in a time (3:53.08) that ranks third in UNK history.

On this week's national list, the 4 x 4 team ranks 13th with Hamilton 10th at 400 meters.
