A redshirt freshman outfielder from Castle Rock, Colo., Carter went 10 for 17 (.588) this past weekend at Colorado Mines.

Batting lead off in the final three games, Carter knocked in seven runs, scored four times and finished the weekend with 10 put outs and an assist in the field.
