Barnes (Perry Hall, Md.) batted .600 over the weekend as the Lopers dropped four games at New Mexico Highlands.

A junior outfielder, designated hitter and first baseman, Barnes went 9 for 15 with nine RBI's and three runs scored in the series.

Also recording 20 put outs and two assists in the field, Barnes went 3 for 5 with five RBI's in the second game of the series and then followed that up with a 3 for 4 effort.
