A redshirt freshman from Wichita, DeShazer reached the 133 lbs. (Elite Division) final at Saturday's UNK Holiday Inn Open.

Winning three matches by decision, he fell in OT, 12-9, to Wyoming's Zach Zehner in the finals. Zehnmer, ranked 15th in NCAA Division I, needed a late flury to force the extra session.
