For the fourth time this indoor season, Bongers broke a school record.

On Saturday at the Frank Sevigne Invite, she placed fourth in the women's special 800 meter run in 2:11.87.

The time is the third fastest in D2 this year and bests Bongers previous school mark of 2:13.07 set last month at UNL.
