Stots defended his 149 lbs. national title by going 4-0 this past weekend at the NCAA meet in Alabama.

He posted wins of 3-2 and 6-1 before recording a major decision, 12-4, in the semifinals. In a match that helped give UNK the team national championships, Stots beat St. Cloud's Jacob D. Horn, 4-3, in the 149 lbs. finals.
