Needing some big throws to reach the NCAA outdoor meet, Howe did just that last weekend at Concorida and Emporia State.

Tossing the discus, she had a season-best throw of 151-6 Friday night in Seward. The next day, she recorded the second best discus effort (156-9) in school history to punch her NCAA ticket.

Howe will join Marissa Bongers as the UNK women at the NCAA Championships May 23-25 in Colorado
