Pape broke the school record at 1,000 meters and ran on a 4 x 4 relay team that turned in a provisional time last Friday at the Concorida Invite in Seward.

The Lincoln native's 2:28.44 in the 1,000 bested the previous record by a second. Running the second leg for the relay team, Pape helped the group easily win with a 3:20.79.
