Murphy won the shot put at the Scott Nisely Memorial Classic this past Saturday at Doane with a season-best throw of 46-2.

That effort puts her 9th on the national list.

Murphy also had the Lopers second best mark (48-2.50) in the weight throw, an event which she placed 7th.
