A senior from Ogallala, Thalken had a strong weekend at the KU Relays in Lawrence.

Facing top competition, hce ame in fifth out of 30 in the Collegiate shot with a toss of 56-9.50. That currently ranks him 13th in Division II and fourth on UNK's all-time top 10.

He also was 12th in the hammer (168-6).
