One of several freshmen in the Loper rotation, Currie averaged 3.57 kills and 2.29 digs per set last week as UNK beat NW Missouri State and Missouri Western State.

The outside hitter led the team in kills for the weekend and also served up five aces, four coming on Friday, and had three blocks, two of the solo variety.
