Won the heptathlon at the UNK's Pre-Holiday Invite with a school record point total of 5,392.

The effort bests the 5,336 he tallied at last year's NCAA indoor meet. The total also automatically qualifies him for this year's national meet and currently is the best in the nation (converted to 5,429)
