University of Nebraska - Kearney Athletics

The sophomore libero dug up 47 balls (5.9 per set) over the weekend to help No. 3 UNK edge No. 21 Northwest Missouri in five sets Friday and sweep Missouri Western State on  Saturday. The Lopers are now 30-1 (15-1) and sit in first place in the MIAA.

McDonnell has 999 career digs and will soon become the 29th Loper to reach 1,000 in a career. She is also on pace to challenge Liz McGowan's record of 2,099.
