Went 3-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles as regionally-ranked UNK won at Washburn, 5-4, and Emporia State, 7-2, while falling at No. 8 Columbus State (Ga.), 8-1.

At No. 2 singles, Royo won each match in straight sets and defeated regionally-ranked Kirsa Utech (No. 6/CSU) and Jacqueline Engelbrecht (No. 20/WU). At No. 3 doubles, teamed with junior Emma Neil to post wins of 9-7 (ESU) and 8-0 (WU) while falling by just a 9-8 score at CSU.
