Broke a 27-year old school record in the 5,000 by running a 16:56.85 at the Hillsdale GINA Relays Friday in Michian.

The time bests the previous Loper standard by 32 seconds and allowed Benesch to place 12th in a championship field. Finally, the effort ranks her 25th in Division II and tops in the MIAA.
