Russell had one of the busiest days by a Loper running back in school history as he carried the ball 39 times for 178 yards and two TD's in Saturday's 16-6 win at Missouri Southern.

Having a long run of 24 yards, Russell's 39 carries tie for fourth most in school history. His long day included only two lost yards.
