Murphy had a very bust Friday at the UNK Twilight meet as she won the shot and was runner up in the both the discus and hammer.

Her throw of 48-2 in the shot is a career-best effort and also is an NCAA automatic qualifying toss. It will also rank her 6th nationally this week.

Murphy then had an NCAA-provisional throw in the discus (144-2) and threw the hammer 162-2.
