Stapleman earned All-American honors in the pole vault at the NCAA Indoor Championships this past Saturday in Pittsburg, Kan.

A two-time national qualifier, Stapleman finished seventh thanks to clearing 16-6.75. He is UNK's first vault All-American (indoors or outdoors) in 11 years and first male top eight All-American in three years (indoors or outdoors).
