In the first two games of a series at Emporia State, Achtermann is batting .778 (7 for 9) with four runs scored and five RBI's. He hit for the cycle (single, double, triple and home run) on Sunday and has now reached base in 24 straight games. 

On the mound, he received a no-decision Saturday after allowing two earned runs over seven full innings. He fanned six in his sixth start of the spring and now is 3-1 with a 2.64 ERA.
