Achtermann repeats as "Loper of the Week" as he remained hot at the plate and on the mound as UNK beat Ft. Hays and took two of three from Washburn last week.

The right hander picked up a win Friday vs. WU by allowing one earned run over 8.1 innings. He fanned eight and walked one in throwing 121 pitches. Achtermann is now 4-1 with a 2.77 ERA.

At the plate, he pushed his season numbers to .425/14/47 after going 9 for 17 (.529) with three HR's and seven RBI's.
