Schmidt led UNK at the rescheduled Alex Francis Classic last Thursday at Fort Hays State. She had career-high efforts in both the shot (1st/47-11.25) and hammer (6th/166-0). She moves up to eighth on the UNK all-time list in the shot and into 10th place on the hammer list. Finally, both throws were provisional efforts.
