A redshirt freshman quarterback, Davis (Colo. Springs) ran 25 times for 147 yards and two TD's as UNK beat Emporia State, 31-21, Saturday in Kansas. It marked the Lopers first win in Welch Stadium since 1983.

Davis had a long run of 45 yards and scored on a pair of one-yard plunges. This is the most rushing yards by a UNK QB since Bronson Marsh had 167 yards in the 2015 finale at Emporia.
