A sophomore from Puerto Rico, Gonzalez fired a school-record 67 (35-32) in the second round of the MIAA Fall Preview last Wednesday at Awarii Dunes in Axtell. The bogey-free round featured 13 pars and five birdies as Gonzalez finished sixth overall with a 2-over par 146. The 18-score broke a 22-year old school record set by UNK Athletic Hall of Famer Carla Dobchuk.
