A redshirt from Colorado Springs, Davis accounted for 225 yards of total offense and two touchdowns to help UNK upset No. 7 Northwest Missouri State, 24-17, Saturday afternoon at Cope Stadium. 

The quarterback ran 24 times for an even 100 yards while going 10 of 19 in the air for 125 yards. Harder to tackle than a greased pig, Davis reversed field and spun away from Bearcat defenders numerous times, leading to big gains and even a first-quarter score. His biggest highlight-reel run was a 20-yarder early in the fourth that allowed UNK to kick a field goal and go up by two scores.
