A fifth-year senior from Kansas City, Silvio helped UNK upset No. 7 Northwest Missouri State, 24-17, Saturday afternoon at Cope Stadium. 

The inside backer had eight tackles (five solo) including two late sacks that helped seal the win. On the second, Silvio forced and recovered the loose ball. That allowed the offense to take critical time off the clock. Early in the game he stripped a Bearcat running back of the ball and recovered it. Finally, he now has 279 career tackles, fourth most in UNK history.
