A senior defensive end, Brodine had three sacks as the 19th-ranked Lopers won a defensive battle at Western State, 13-6.

Two of the sacks came on the same drive when Western trailed by seven and took possession of the ball at midfield.

The sacks help Brodine push his career total to 21.0 and break Brad Kjar's school record of 20.5 (defensive stats have only been kept at UNK since 1990).
