Soucie, a fifth-year senior, went for a career-high 35 points in Saturday's 81-80 OT win over Pittsburg State. The forward made two free throws with 3.8 seconds left in extra time to tally the winning points. It marks just the 12th time a Loper men's player has tallied at least 35 points in an MIAA game.Â
To reach that mark Soucie was 14 of 23 from the floor and 7 of 11 from the line while also having nine boards, three blocks, two assists and a steal in playing 40 minutes.Â
