Mancini, in his first event as a Loper, won the 184 pound class at Saturday's Viking-Warrior Open in Fremont. 

The transfer from D1 Franklin & Marshall had an 11-2 major, a 18-0 tech fall and an 17-1 tech fall (46-3 overall). Beating two Augustana Vikings and an individual from NAIA power Grand View, he was one of 10 Lopers to place in the open tournament
