Portillo, ranked 7th nationally at 125 pounds, out scored his opponents by a 37-12 margin to win his class at the Super Region VI Championships Saturday at the Health & Sports Center. Qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the process, the junior is now 26-7 on the season.
