Spitzlberger directed an offense that racked up 587 yards of offense in a 38-24 win at Colorado State-Pueblo on Saturday.

In the air, the Colorado junior went 22 of 31 for a career high 410 yards, four TD's and no INT's. The yardage total is just the 11th time in school history a Loper QB has reached 400 yards passing in a single game.

Spitzlberger was solid on 3rd down all day, throwing a 6-yard TD strike to senior Brendan Liess in the 2nd quarter and then having TD tosses of 71 and 73 yards to senior Kyle Kaiser in the 4th quarter.
