In a 56-31 win over the Mustangs in Silver City, Spitzlberger threw for 298 yards and three scores and also ran for 58 yards and three more TD's.

He directed an offense that scored TD's on seven straight drives and amassed 632 yards, the most by the Lopers in eight years.
