Werner, a senior outside hitter from Grand Island, came up big as the Loper volleyball team secured the RMAC regular season title with road wins at Colorado Mines and Colo.-Colo. Springs this past weekend.

In a tough four set win in Golden, Werner recorded a career-high 23 kills. The next night in a sweep of Springs, she had 17 kills.

Before this weekend, Werner's career best in kills (16) came in the Lopers five set loss to Mesa State in September.

For the two matches, she hit a solid .276 and also added 11 digs and three blocks.
