Kearney, Neb. - The 13th-ranked UNK football team rolled up 597 yards of offense to beat Fort Lewis, 59-14, Saturday in Durango, Colo.
The Lopers (8-1, 7-0 RMAC) win an eighth straight game for the first time since 1977. UNK has now won the past three over the Skyhawks (1-8, 0-7 RMAC) by a combined score of 144-14.
After a season-opening win, FLC has dropped eight in a row.

After a 65-yard TD pass from Tim Jenkins to Phillip Dodd made the score 14-7 Lopers early in the 2nd quarter, UNK scored 31 unanswered points.
The Lopers attacked FLC from all angles, running for 306 yards and 4 TD's while throwing for 291 yards and 3 TD's. On the other side, the pass happy Hawks ran just 13 times for 27 yards while completing 32 passes for 323 yards.
