Volleyball Makes Quick Work of Bobcats

Kearney, Neb. - The 5th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team needed just 55 minutes to sweep Peru State (-6, -11, -9) Wednesday night at the Health & Sports Center.

UNK (26-1) wins its 20th straight match -- the 7th longest such streak in school history -- while the NAIA Bobcats drop to 12-18.

The Lopers hit .344 on the evening and held to Peru to just one kill in the first set. For the night, UNK had 42 kills compared to 11 for PSC.
