Kearney, Neb. – Sophomore
Max Froehlich scored a career high 30 points to lead the Nebraska-Kearney men's basketball team to a road win over Adams State,
86-76, Friday night in Alamosa, Colorado.
Nebraska-Kearney improves to 6-3, 2-1 in the RMAC, while Adams State fall to 3-5, 1-2 in the RMAC.
Moment of the Game
For the second straight game, Nebraska-Kearney had to overcome a 10-point lead in the first half, then went on a 19-7 scoring run to close out the half. During the scoring run, the Lopers were lead by senior center
Josiah Parker with 9 points in six minutes.
UNK led most of the second half by double digits. For the game, the Lopers shot 56 percent from the field while the Grizzlies shot a season low 34 percent from the floor.
Adams State had a 16-6 offensive rebounding advantage over the Lopers but the blue and gold countered with a 10 of 16 effort from the 3-point line.
