Kearney, Neb. – Former Lopers Jeff Martin and Tyler Bullock led the Nebraska-Omaha men's basketball team past Nebraska-Kearney,
83-73, Friday night at Sapp Fieldhouse.
UNO, winners of 5 of the last 6 meetings between the two, improves to 9-1 while UNK fall to 6-5.

UNK got its first three points by
Josiah Parker, then UNO got baskets by Martin and Tyler Bullock to make the score 6-3 with 16:37 left. The Lopers ended the half with a Dexter Higgins 3-pointer to make the score 39-34 UNO.
The Mavs would then lead much of the 2nd half by single digits. UNK got it only lead with 6:17 remaining, thanks to a tip-in by Parker and 3-pointer by
Chris Deans.
The teams traded baskets over the next two minutes and then UNO went on a 13-4 run with 4:02 left to seal the deal.
UNO had a 17-10 offensive rebounding advantage and that led to a 13-9 total in 2nd chance points.
