Pueblo Women Earns Win in Kearney

Kearney, Neb. – Colorado State University-Pueblo used a 35-17 run -- including a 27-2 spurt -- to close out the first half and beat Nebraska-Kearney, 76-62, Saturday night at the Health & Sports Center.

Pueblo improves to 4-2 (2-0 RMAC), while Lopers fall to 1-5, (1-1 RMAC)

Digging themselves out of a 12-0 hole, Pueblo has now won the last 5 of 6 meetings with the Lopers, including the past three. The also earn their first ever win against the UNK in Kearney.

Moment of the Game
Nebraska-Kearney scored the first 12 points of the game but Pueblo countered with their own 12-2 run to tie the game up at 14 with 12:21 left.

After the the big 1st half run, Pueblo had at least a double digit lead most of second half.

For the game, the ThunderWolves outscored the Lopers 44-11 in points off turnovers  -- thanks to 31 UNK miscues -- and had a 14-4 advantage on fast break points.
