Wide Receivers Coach Leaving for Position at Doane College

Kearney, Neb. - Nebraska-Kearney head football coach Darrell Morris announced today that assistant coach Grant Mollring is leaving the Lopers to be the offensive coordinator at NAIA Doane College in Crete.

The UNK graduate has been with the team the past three years, the last two as wide receivers coach. Mollring has also coached at Kearney and Eustis-Faram High Schools.

A native of Cambridge, football coaching is in the Mollring family as Grant's father, Jeff, is a longtime assistant coach at McCook High School with a brother, Scott, serving as an assistant football coach at Southwest High School. Jeff Mollring also is a Doane graduate.

Morris said the search for Mollring's replacement has already begun.
