Kearney, Neb. - Colorado State transfer Juanise Cornell scored 24 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the Colorado Christian women's basketball team to a 72-57 win over Nebraska-Kearney Friday night in Lakewood, Colo.

The Cougars improve to 7-8 (5-3 RMAC) while UNK slips to 3-11 (3-5 RMAC) and suffers its third all-time loss to Christian (28-3).

UNK led in the early parts of the 1st half and at the break, 35-30. CCU took back the lead early in the 2nd half and took control from there as the Lopers couldn't find the mark, making only 5 of 26 (19.2 pct.) 2nd half field goals
