Kim Thissen, scored season and career high in points to lead the Lopers past the Mountain Lions of UCCS,
84-70, Saturday afternoon at the Health & Sports Center.
Nebraska-Kearney stops a four-game losing streak and improves to 4-13 (4-7 RMAC) while the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs falls to 5-14 (1-10 RMAC).

Nebraska-Kearney had its best shooting night of the season, making 53% (30-56) of its field goals. UNK came into tonight shooting 38.9% from the field.
The Lopers led most of the first half by double digits as the Mountain Lions shot only 22.9% (8-35) from the field.
By making 51.7% (15-29) of its shots from the field, UNK led 42-16 at halftime. Junior post

UCCS shooting came to life in the second half by going 17-33 (51.5%) from the floor, to score 54 points, but UNK kept shooting over 50 percent (15-27) from the field to always keep its lead in double figures.
